Nice that's is not a chain but I've been to better. It's not bad, it will fill your craving.

I was wondering if they took cards since they were a small place and don’t have a website so I decided just to go and risk it and they do! The owners are so friendly! Yummy coffee and the donuts are awesome. They’re going to be all your standards like cake donuts, raised donuts, long johns, apple fritters, twists, all different glazed. The maple bacon long johns are the star of the show. Don’t be scared by the sketchy strip mall, this is a great place!

Donut star has recently come under new ownership (at the time of this review) and all I can say is they are doing a phenomenal job. The family that runs it are very friendly, helpful, and service oriented.When we visited in mid-May (2020) we tried a variety of a dozen and were delighted by the quality of the donuts. The dough is wonderful: fluffy where it should be fluffy, and crispy where it should be crispy. The cake donuts are nice and light on the inside and crispy on the outside, and all their icings are delicious!We’ve been back every weekend since and will continue! They’ve earned our loyalty after this first 6 weeks!!!

What a great place! Family owned, amazing food, and friendly staff. They truly appreciate you. Pro tip, get there early or order the day before! They were nearly out at 930 on Saturday.

How can you not love Donut Star?! Always a great place for the tried & true donut selections. My absolute favorite is their double chocolate cake donut, but the blueberry cake donut as a close second.. The owner Mark & his wife are so nice every time I stop in - love this place so much!

I was craving Donuts for weeks & my partner found Donut Star.They super hit the spot.The donuts were so sweet & soft, plus there are options that are free of Red 40 (which is my weird allergy).I recently went into Donut Star & the owner was so polite & helpful.I am glad I have a good place to go for Donuts now.

The best tasting donuts I've found in the area. The cinnamon rolls were bland, but were baked perfectly.

Guys....if you have not had these donuts, you are missing out! I just took my first bite and I feel like my world changed. Like where have they been all my life?!?! On top of the deliciousness, the owner was wonderful. Such a nice person, and thanked everyone for stopping in. Overall, a great experience. 100% chance I will be returning for my future donut needs.

The best donuts in town! I drive 14 miles round trip past the Dunkin’ Donuts twice because that’s how great Donut Star is. The owner makes and sells the donuts with their own, unique recipes and you can see and taste the difference. Vastly superior to Dunkin’ Donuts corporate, franchise recipes, and are made and sold by an employee in assembly line fashion with no vested interest in the product. If you going to treat your friends to a burger, would you take them to McDonalds?

Donuts were over done, in all fairness we were there @ 10am, maybe all the good ones were already taken. Service was very good.

Arrived at 10:47am. Hours on google say 5-12. Sign on door says they close when they sell out. Dissappointed because I wanted a donut. Its over an hour before their closing hour. Make some more.

I visited for the first time this morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My issue was with the donuts. I bought a dozen mixed to take to work, at 7:30am. They tasted stale and made me think they were not fresh. The selection was also not that exciting.

I have traveled the world in the military and donut start has been and will always be the best donut shop in the world.

Got a box of a bunch of random. long john was soft and fluffy, raspberry filled donut was great, outside had a bit of a crunch and a beautiful airy bite met with a sweet raspberry sauce, blueberry filled was similar experience. The bear claw filled with apple pie filling came recommended by a staff worker, it was really nice flavor, not overly filled so you got a good amount to donut to apple filling ratio. The apple fritter was huge! and still warm when I got home. little doughy in center but due to size not surprising, it had a good flavor nice marbling, only complaint on fritter would be up the cinnamon and apple content, but I really like cinnamon so that is likely more personal:)

Cute little place with a good variety of donuts to choose from. Their prices are very fair too. They could use a little interior decorating to warm up the atmosphere while you wait though. I'd recommend it for very good donuts!
